Charon's Call

by "Splatter" Joe Solmo

Charon's Call

Take the light from me, leave me alone

In my gray dreams, I sink like a stone

I’m not comfortable, in my own skin

But no others, will met me in

I miss the feeling of the peace, traveling familiar streets

Take me home, take me home

Pass right through the strangers eyes, looking for a brighter sky,

Take me home, take me home

And in the shadows, hides the raven

On his black wings, he carries my sins

In this fading light, surrounded by mists

Once lived a pround man, suddenly adrift

I drown in your darkness, i drown in your lies

Too hungry for salvation, to open my eyes

Submerged in your anguish, submerged in your sorrow

I do nothing to find, a better tomorrow

I miss the feeling of the peace, traveling familiar streets

Take me home, take me home

Pass right through the strangers eyes, looking for a brighter sky,

Take me home, take me home
