Misery

by "Splatter" Joe Solmo

Come on darkness, take me away, So that I can put an end to this day

Pain and despair has taken me, to the land of Misery

Home of the banshees wailing their woes, an octave lower then my own sorrow

Reliving countless failures of the past, Sinks me to the bottom fast

Falling fast, into this, spiraling, into the abyss

Blackness surrounds, surrounds me, in the land of Misery

Nightmare shadows haunt my dreams, in the land of Misery

Countless failures bury me, underneath the willow tree

My memories cut like knives, all the low points of my life

Why can’t I believe in me, I am in Misery

I know it’s all my fault, and I know I am to blame

I stopped looking for the sun, I’m stranded in the rain

The seed has been planted and defeat has grown in me

It’s consumed all hope, I’m in Misery

Falling fast, into this, spiraling, into the abyss

Blackness surrounds, surrounds me, in the land of Misery
